Korea Memorial – 27 July

The armistice was signed on 27 July 1953, and was designed to “ensure a complete cessation of hostilities and of all acts of armed force in Korea until a final peaceful settlement is achieved.  To mark this historic event a there will be a short act of remembrance on 27 July at 1100hrs at the war memorial on the Guildhall Square.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
