ATTENDEE’S SAFETY BRIEF
Please ensure all members of your party are familiar with the Health and Safety points listed below:
Smoking is not permitted onboard. The only designated smoking area is in the port arena.
There are no heads (toilets) onboard, the nearest one can be found in the Port Arena on the far side of the Mary Rose. Exit to and from the ship is via the Port Gangway.
In the event of an emergency please remain calm, you will be directed off the ship by either the Officer of the Day or a member of staff and shown to a safe area in either the Port or Stbd Arena’s were you are to remain and wait for further instructions.
There are many hazards around the ship I would ask you to be especially careful of low beams and steep ladders between decks plus the number of trip hazards under foot: especially uneven surfaces, ropes and artefacts that are not obvious on entry.
You are not to walk around the ship on your own.
Glasses are not to be removed from the mess.
Finally we ask you to respect the Mess and the ship as this is a living Museum full of history.
