Remembering D-Day and the Battle of Normandy
One of the D-DAY 80 events that the Salisbury Branch of the Royal British Legion will be hosting alongside the Salisbury City Council and the AFVBC is a D-DAY80 Dinner and Dance. Why not come and join us on Saturday 8th June at Salisbury Guildhall for an Evening
We will hopefully be joined by a D-Day Veteran and other guests of honour, including a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire General Sir Nick Parker & Lady Parker and the Mayor of Salisbury.
There will be drinks available upon arrival and wine on the table for dinner.
You will be able to enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner and Port for the Loyal Toast.
On your arrival you will be greeted by the Pianist for the Evening Mr Jack Baden, who will continue to play during the dinner.
On completion of the 3-course dinner, there will be a Loyal toast with Port on the table, this will be followed by few words from General Sir Nick Parker and the Salisbury British Legion Branch President
Our live act, Sticky Toffee Jazz, will then take us into the night with music and song from the 1940s.
