Chris has enjoyed a unique career as an RN Helicopter pilot, instructor and test pilot. This talk describes the decade spent as an experimental TP ’94 – ’04, at Boscombe Down. After his EPS course he joined Experimental Flying Squadron working with DRA scientists specialising in ship/helicopter interface testing. He returned to EPS as an instructor and spent three years managing the short course portfolio. Frustrated by this job he joined the CAA. Following 10 demanding years he formed Dovetail Aviation Ltd and continues to test fly a wide variety of aircraft. He has flown over 400 different types and written two books. Details here
