I hope you’re all looking forward to an evening of Scottish verse and dance to celebrate and remember the life and works of the great Scottish Bard – Robert (Rabbie) Burns.
The entertainment will be provided our very own Piper, Liv McLennan, accompanied by Wendy Mumford calling the dancing, hopefully this time, with a louder microphone in hand. We also plan to have a Malt Whisky tasting session in the Hotel Reception area after the meal and before the dancing.
The White Hart have certainly surpassed themselves with a mouth-watering, full of Scottish flavour Menu; please select your choice as necessary and note you can have the Chicken without the Haggis.
We have been very fortunate to secure two sponsors for the event, which has significantly reduced the cost to those wishing to attend. A big thank you goes out to:
‘Glenkier Whiskies Ltd – who own the UK’s largest chain of Whisky Stores. ‘The Whisky Shop’, which has grown to over 22 branches nationwide. And,
Trethowans Solicitors – a leading law firm, with offices based in Salisbury and the South West.
The dress for the event is formal with a strong hint of tartan. DJ/Suit for the Laddies and Long or Cocktail Dress for the Lassies. Miniature Medals at your preference.

Full timings and running order for the evening will be published closer to the event, but please plan for a 18:15hrs meet in the bar and be seated in the main function room by 19:00hrs. I have asked the White Hart to try and speed up the bar service at the beginning of the evening.
