Members of the Salisbury AFVBC together with Leslie Brantingham, Fovant Badges conservation officer, put some shine back into Royal Signals Fovant Badge and the Poppy. From a distance the badges looked fine, however, on closer inspection they were covered in weeds and looked very scruffy.
The 5 volunteers over 3 visits weeded and cleared dead grass from the badges. A brilliant effort by all involved the badges now pop against the grass. This project will recommence in spring 2023.
